For the proper handling and protection of personal information, Japan Volleyball League ( "JVL") will comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan, other relevant laws and regulations, and their guidelines, etc., and will handle personal information based on the Privacy Policy set out below (this “Policy”).
- 1．Acquisition and Use of Personal Information
- JVL will take appropriate procedures for obtaining personal information by clearly stating the purpose of use and will not use it for purposes other than that intended.
- 2．Management of Personal Information
- JVL will properly manage personal information and take measures to prevent loss, alteration, and leakage.
- 3. Restrictions on Providing Personal Information to Third Parties
- JVL will not provide and disclose personal information to third parties without prior consent from the individual, except when it meets the requirements of the law.
- 4. Disclosure, Correction, and Deletion of Personal Information
- JVL confirms that individuals have the right to request the disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, and suspension of use of their personal information that can identify them. When such requests are received, JVL will promptly respond.
- 5. Outsourcing of Personal Information Handling
- When JVL outsources all or part of the handling of personal information to an external party, JVL will require the outsourcing party to manage the personal information securely and will conduct necessary and appropriate supervision.
- 6. Thorough Protection of Personal Information
- JVL will ensure that this policy is well known to the officers, committee members, and other related parties of the association, and will raise awareness and implement the protection of personal information.
JVL reserves the right to change these terms without prior notice or consent from the users.
